A project of the University of South Florida's Optial Oceanology Loaboritory, the Sargassum Watch System provides timely Sargassum forecast or outlook bulletins which are updated routinely. The bulletins started in early February 2018, and they are meant to give an outlook of Sargassum bloom probability in certain regions in the upcoming months, based on bloom conditions in previous months, and previous years.
